The german eSports club, mousesports, have announced via their website that they have added two coaches to attend the MLG Columbus Major.
mousesports have announced today that Niclas "enkay J" Krumhorn, former mTw and Planetkey Dynamics player, and Navid "Kapio" Javadi will temporarily be mousesports coaches for the upcoming MLG Columbus Major. Krumhorn, who was a former mTw and Planetkey Dynamics player, will be preparing maps and tactics for the team and will continue to perform these tasks in the coming weeks, including in Columbus, while Javadi will act as an in-game coach behind the players.
Javadi, who played for mousesports most of his career, joined the team as head coach but only for a short term as Nikola "NiKo" Kovač took over as in-game leader following Fatih "gob b" Dayik's exit. Javadi will help mouz in the late game keeping his team "calm and close out the match", says mousesports CEO Cengiz Tüylü.
mousesports have been drawn into Group A for the Major, alongside Ninjas in Pyjamas, Luminosity and FlipSid3 Tactics. Their first match in Columbus will be against the 2016 IEM Katowice runners-up, Luminosity.
"Niclas has done an outstanding job as an analyst for us this year," mousesports CEO Cengiz Tüylü said in a statement.
"With the addition of Navid, we not only have an excellent tactical mind on our staff, but also someone who has seen it all in competitive CS and knows what it takes to win at the biggest stages.
"Especially late in the game he will help the team to keep calm and close out the match."
